　　Hello there, children!

　　Do you know why crows are black? Let me tell you the story behind it.

　　A long time ago, in a thick jungle, there lived a handsome crow.

　　His feathers were as soft and as white as snow.

　　Most of the other birds admired his beautiful feathers but there were some who were jealous of his good looks.

　　One day, a mean hunter shot his parents. This made the young crow very sad.

　　He had no appetite to eat or drink. He no longer cared how good he looked.

　　His soft, white feathers became rough and dirty.
